Since the year 2000, Coogee Surf Life Saving Club has been providing premium ocean event experiences such as the Coogee Island Challenge & RunSwim Coogee Aquathlon together with exceptional water safety to the community.

Our Patrolling season starts in September, and goes through to April. We patrol every weekend, all public holidays during this time and our Surf Lifesavers are highly skilled in many areas of surf rescue to ensure your safety at the beach.
In addition to keeping our beaches safe, Coogee SLSC is the organiser of several major events each year, with some being sporting focussed, and others being community focussed.
